  • The entertaining must have serves multiple taquitos and sauces together on one tray

Pittsburgh, Chicago, November 14th, 2023

#Chip and #dip sets and taco serving racks have become commonplace for at home entertaining, but the world has yet to find an easy way to serve taquitos and dipping sauces. Taquitos consistently roll off traditional serving platters because of their rounded edges. And no taquito experience is complete without mix and match dipping sauces, but serving multiple sauces at once leaves a sink full of dirty dishes. To solve these common entertaining frustrations, #Delimex launches today a first of its kind taquito serving platter.

The Delimex #Taquito platter’s custom mold allows hosts to serve two dozen taquitos and six dips together on one beautiful tray. No rolling guaranteed and clean up is as easy as serving. The platter features one of a kind artwork from Mexican artist and muralist Alejandra Ballesteros and is available on Amazon just in time for the holiday entertaining season.

“We’re thrilled that the new Delimex Taquito Platter makes it easier than ever to share the authentic tastes and flavors of Mexican street style food at your gatherings this holiday season”, says Lauren Nowak, Brand Manager, Delimex. “As a brand that strives to add bold, delicious flavor to fans’ daily routines, our new platter offers a solution to a real problem our fans face in a vibrant, first of its kind way.”

Mexican artist and muralist Alejandra Ballesteros drew inspiration for the platter’s design from the vibrancy and colors of Mexican street style. The platter is adorned with cempasuchil flowers, chickens and roosters. The flowers’ vibrant colors and unique aroma serve as a reminder of Mexico's rich cultural heritage, much like the chickens and roosters that hold significant importance across Mexican food, symbolism, art, entertainment, and traditions. Similarly, the box takes inspiration from Mexican Talavera, known for its intricate hand painted ceramic designs featuring vibrant motifs.

“I felt it was important to capture Mexican culture in my design for the Delimex Taquito Platter—it’s all about the colors, the memories of family meals, and the strong sense of community around a dish”, says artist Alejandra Ballesteros. “I first had the pleasure of creating a vibrant mural for Delimex to celebrate their brand refresh last year. This project gives me the joy of bringing a little piece of Mexican street style and art into homes for all to create new traditions and lasting memories.”

Founded by a Mexican born entrepreneur that brought hand held Delicius Mexican street style food to main street, Delimex offers vibrant, bold, and craveable flavors in the frozen aisle. Delimex taquitos make for the perfect snack, mini meal, or main event and are sure to be the hit of the holiday party this entertaining season.

The Delimex Taquito Platter will be available on #Amazon for 10.99 dollars, while supplies last. Get it at the link here. To learn more, follow @Delimex on #Instagram.
