Big Flo and Oli become Ambassadors for Citroën

  • Citroën is teaming up with the famous duo Big Flo and Oli in a musical and creative partnership. The duo will act as a brand ambassador in France and globally.

The French rap group, Big Flo and Oli, has today become an ambassador for #Citron in France and globally. This partnership will also extend to the duo’s tour and the 2023 edition of the Rose Festival in Toulouse, created on their initiative.

Big Flo and Oli are talented artists who have won eight NRJ Music Awards and three “Victoires de la Musique” in their careers, which only began three years ago. The #duo—brothers, Florian and Olivio Ordonez—embodies a commitment to the values of sharing and solidarity that are dear to Citroën, a brand that strives to be popular and close to its customers.

Citroën and the duo met in October 2022, when the Citroën OLI concept car was unveiled. A question about the name of the concept led to a meeting with the public and the creation of exclusive content entitled Big Flo et Oli rencontrent OLI (Big Flo and Oli meet OLI), in which the group talks about its relationship with mobility and the environment during a stroll around Paris.

Following this initiative, Citroën and the duo decided to develop other joint projects. “A popular and daring brand, Citroën blends particularly well within the world of Big Flo and Oli, who were recently voted the favourite celebrities of the French. So, the partnership came about quite naturally. We’re really excited about launching our partnership with Big Flo and Oli, and meeting a new audience thanks to their energy and colourful universe. Their operation with our concept, OLI, went down very well and we are convinced that this partnership marks the start of a great adventure for all of us”, says Laurent Barria, Marketing and Communications Director, Citroën.

The partnership between Citroën and Big Flo et Oli will take several forms

Citroën is the official partner of “Le Grand Tour” over its 30 dates, and the duo will work with the brand on several creative projects and events.

Our operation with the concept, OLI, was really cool, but it was only the beginning. We still have a lot of things to dream up and create together. Rose #Festival 2023

Created by Big Flo et Oli last year, the Rose Festival will be held this year from 1st to 3rd September at MEETT in Toulouse. The festival was made possible thanks to the unprecedented association of three leading firms from Toulouse: Bleu Citron, the main festival organiser in the South West of France, Golden Child, Big Flo et Oli’s label, and the La Dépêche du Midi Group. The festival is represented by SAS Rose, on the artistic side, and Association ROse, on the social side. This association focuses on bringing people together, sharing, cultural initiatives, and support for audiences and young artists.

The first edition of the Rose Festival hosted renowned artists such as Big Flo et Oli, IAM, Damso, Laylow, and Ben Mazué, among others, and attracted an audience of 50,000 people. In 2023, some of the greatest talents will take part, including M, Angèle, Petit Biscuit, Disiz, Worakls, et cetera.

In 2023, Citroën is the official partner of the Rose Festival, providing a fleet of 10 vehicles to transport artists and partners during the #festival.
